From, “It’s Our Turn” to “I Don’t Know”
David Hardage is now the Executive Director of the TBC/BGCT officially. The Standard reported the vote was 69-1 (God bless the 1).
Who?
David Hardage, the compromise candidate now officially the ED.
Marv Knox immediately got to interview the new ED and (this is not a joke, Knox really wrote this) stated:
David Hardage said the right thing shortly after Texas Baptists’ Executive Board elected him executive director.
“I don’t know.”
Yes, Knox really printed this. This is just what the TBC/BGCT needs, someone who says, “I don’t know”. Come to think of it, Hardage follows in the path of his two predecessors Wade and Everett. When asked about the Valley, Wade did not know. When asked about anything, Everett did not know.
Good job Marv, and you didn’t even have him write up his own news release like you did with Currie.

69 to 1 … I hope the ONE will speak up, fess up, share up, and tell us other “in the dark” Texas Baptists whats really going on over at 333 N. Washington St. Maybe they know the true facts about the “compromised candidate’s” service / ministry records?” Perhaps they know the truth behind the Waco disaster(s) and the “get out of Sul. Spgs. at all costs crusade.” I hope we can learn more since Dr. David Hardage now represents all Texas Baptists in one way or another… by choice or force. I know he is now on the top floor “until death do us part (pretty much),” so why not let us all know the whole truth and nothing but the truth about all the possible problems. As a Texas Baptist, I would hate to be caught by total surprise some day when someone says something negative about our new TBC / BGCT Ed. Dir. I assume all is AOK, but why not give us some kind of guarantee. But, at this point all that is out there is speculation, doubt, and potential problems. I pray to GOD that it is all OK…. I really do.
